Couple Garden Guide
for Audition Next Gen
Welcome to Solfege's Guide to Couple Garden for Audition Next Gen. This guide is made specifically for ANG gardeners who want fast couple points for their dream rings. Most basic garden functions have been omitted.
I have also added techniques I came up by myself and those I learned from others. Most parts of this guide are based on guides posted on the old Redbana forums. Some are based on what I've studied and recorded so far on ANG server.
As of April 2023, we've moved our URL to garden.sssolfege.com. Please update your bookmarks! Thank you!
Kindly credit Solfege and Sai when sharing to others if this guide has helped you. Thank you very much!
Basic Timing
Lags and Delays
Currently, ANG has a garden time delay that starts at 0 seconds after every maintenance and increases to around 1 minute in a week. This delay cannot be seen using /time, or using the fam office clock, or 1-day market timer. If the delay is at 10 seconds, /time HH:MM:10 is garden HH:MM:00. Because of this, it is NOT advisable to plant or do tasks at minutes ending in 0.
Couple Garden Tasks
Watering
- if planted/watered in minutes ending in 1~4
1 hour + round up 10 mins, after being planted or after the last watering
- if planted/watered in minutes ending in 5~9
1 hour + round up 10 mins + 10 mins, after being planted or after the last watering
- if planted/watered in minutes ending in 1~4
Dusting
1 hour + round up 10 mins + 10 mins, after being planted or after the last dusting
Fertilizing
24 hours + round up 20 mins + 10 mins, after being planted or after the last fertilizing
Secret Garden Herbs
Time for growth of herbs starts once they are fertilized. Garden time delay is added to the growth time, so at most for example, Rosemaries can take up to 8 minutes to grow. Herbs must be harvested before they die.

Full Bloom Method
Phases
Phase 1 — newly planted seed
Phase 2 — 1 hourly count
Phase 3 — 3 hourly counts
Phase 4 — 9 hourly counts
Phase 5 — 19 hourly counts — Full bloom can be reached at a minimum of 18 hours and 20 mins
Invisible Hourly Count
This means that there must be at least 1 task done within every hour for that specific hour to count. For example, within 01:01~01:59, one watering task was done, therefore that specific hour is added to the invisible hourly count. When the total hourly count reaches 1, 3, 9, or 19, the plants will change phase accordingly.
Tips
- Since watering and dusting both have an interval of more than 1 hour, it is possible to skip an hour if the timing is wrong. One way to prevent this, and also to get 50-heart hats during phase change, is to separate watering and dusting as far as possible. This can be anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes.
- For example, seeds are planted at 01:01. First water will appear at 02:10. Do watering task starting 02:11, and go back after every 40 minutes to dust or water. You have 10 mins to do the task without the need to adjust your timer. If you were late, start your timer again 40 minutes after your last task.
- Never do your tasks in minutes ending in 0, especially 00, if you do not know the current delay. There is a big chance that your plants will not have the same hourly counts, and will change phases in different hours.
- You don’t need to do a task right away just because the task has already appeared. Diskarte lang.
You can use the form below to create a sample schedule. You also do not need to follow the schedule strictly. As I mentioned previously, diskarte lang.
Fullbloom Images
Since the display for Phase 4 and 5 can be confusing, I've decided to post their images here. If the plant looks exactly like the 3rd image for every seed below, it should be ready to harvest. Please do be careful with the Orchids since their Phase 4 and 5 look very similar.
Separating Tasks
Since people need sleep, we will sometimes need to leave our gardens for more than an hour. When this happens, water and dust, and sometimes fertilizer, will appear together. Since we want to separate the task timings, here is an old technique by Tukkun. Just make sure that the difference of your starting and ending garden points is equal to your plants.
Skipping Phases
Starting Patch246 (2025/06/12), new potions have been added to the Secret Garden mixing! After days of calculating, it seems that both Top Grade Potion and Advanced Potion are better to mix for, compared to the Lv1 and Lv2 Grow Boosters. Both potions have similar ratio when it comes to work done vs hours saved, quite higher than the Grow Boosters, even when taking in consideration the success rate in mixing. Although it might feel less painful to mix and fail on the blue one.
Our equations to remember are:
- Phase3 + Red/Lv2 = Phase5 = Bloom
- Phase4 + Blue/Lv1 = Phase5 = Bloom
To get the most Couple Points from your harvest, make sure to purchase the Homebound Mark for the bonus 30 couple points per harvested Phase 5 plant. Only the account with Homebound Mark item can get the bonus while harvesting.
Grow Boosters / Skip Potions
This method is for additional couple points if done correctly. This is basically using the appropriate potions on the correct phase to make your plants bloom and save the most amount of time. Listed below are my recommended potions and boosters to mix for.
#1
Advanced Potion
The blue potion skips 1 phase for 1 whole garden page. You will need another one if you have page 2 with Expansion Key. Use this on Phase 4. You can get them from the gacha with some luck, or mix for them in the Secret Garden. There are no confirmation messages so be careful when clicking the Use button.
30x Rosemary Concentrate
5x Rosemary Herbs each
10x Double Mix
5x Rosemary Herb +
5x Spearmint Herb each
10x Triple Mix G
10x Rosemary Herb +
10x Spearmint Herb +
1x Peppermint Herb each
#2
Top-grade Potion
The red potion skips 2 phases for 1 whole garden page. You will need another one if you have page 2 with Expansion Key. Use this on Phase 3. You can get them from the gacha with some luck, or mix for them in the Secret Garden. There are no confirmation messages so be careful when clicking the Use button.
50x Rosemary Concentrate
5x Rosemary Herbs each
15x Triple Mix
11x Rosemary Herb +
1x Peppermint Herb each
15x Triple Mix G
10x Rosemary Herb +
10x Spearmint Herb +
1x Peppermint Herb each
#3
Lv2 Grow Booster
This item skips 2 phases for 1 plant only. Use this on Phase 3. Not very recommended, except if you are more comfortable with mixing small amounts of herbs only. You can get them from love attendance on the 12th charge, or the gacha with some luck, or mix for them in the Secret Garden.
2x Rosemary Concentrate
5x Rosemary Herbs each
1x Spearmint Concentrate
3x Spearmint Herbs each
1x Triple Mix
11x Rosemary Herb +
1x Peppermint Herb each
FAQs and Tips
Which method gives the most couple points?
As of Patch106 (2021/08/19), the hats during harvest is now more than the usual, averaging at 1900 Couple Points for 40 plants. The recommended method to use now is full bloom. This means you will need to purchase the Homebound Mark
monthly to make the most out of your harvest.
We can now get hats on phase change, even if water and dust are together. Is there any difference to when there is only 1 task?
Yes. When there is only 1 task on phase change, there is a chance to get 50-heart hats. When there is more than 1 task, only 10-heart hats will drop.
Which seeds give you the most couple points?
Any. All seeds work the same, even cash seeds. The only difference is the graphic display.
Does leaving the hats to collect later give you more 50/200 couple points per hat?
No.
Does male or female character affect the drop rate?
No.
How do the worms affect the garden?
Currently, I have not tested if it affects drop rate. But it does not seem to affect the hourly count negatively anymore. But to be safe, please make sure there are no worms before doing any task.
Tips for more Couple Points? [Garden]
- Expand your garden to 40 plants.
- Do full bloom method and skipping phases when you can.
- Do shifting and scheduling with your couple so your garden and secret garden are occupied 24/7.
- Purchase the Couple Garden Expansion Key (monthly) to let you grow an additional 40 plants at a time.
Tips for more Couple Points? [Game]
- Drain your Couple Battle Party NPCs to 1 and buy the CBP reset item for another round of draining. Double effort against hidden NPCs. Train your reverse chance 3 especially in 8-keys.
- Use your x2 couple points from gacha together with your couple to stack it to x4 during Couple Dance or Ballroom. Use it during Bonus +4 or +5.
- Play Couple Point Battle with another wedded couple for additional 7~8 couple points per game. A minimum of 5 moves is required for both accounts to obtain couple points. There also seems to be a required minimum song length for the bonus couple points.
- Play Block Beat and team up with your couple, which I don't really recommend because of too much effort even though I'm a Block Beat player myself. But if you and your couple love the mode, then of course go ahead!
- Wear avatars that have Couple Point perfume (from Makeup Room) when you play! You can get up to +4 Couple Points per game.
Tips for more Couple Points? [Purchase]
- If you are willing to spend, you can purchase Diego's Special Gift Box from the mall at a maximum of 100pcs per day. This gives you a random durational avatar, and one of these 3: EXP, Couple Points, or Fam Points. The Couple Points you can get range from a common 50 to a rare 2000. This is usually included in spend promos.
- Again, if you are willing to spend, you can also charge your Golden Gacha at maximum 10x per day. Click here for the Couple Points and other items you can get. This is NOT included in spend promos.
- You can also purchase Crazyqueen Giftbox with your DENs for a painfully low low chance to get 100 or more Couple Points.

Love Attendance
When each person clicks their heart for attendance, 1 charge is added. It means a couple can get 2 charges per day, or 24 charges in 12 days.
The total charge will reset every half month (every 1st and 16th of the month) which means a couple has around 15 days to complete the 24 charges.

Couple Bankbook
The Couple Bankbook allows you to share dens with your couple. You can deposit, withdraw, and purchase using the bankbook balance. When the bankbook expires, you will not be able to use these functions.
The bankbook also has ranks: Normal > Classic > Premier > Special > Royal. In each rank, you will need to do 3 missions before you are able to go to the next rank. After claiming rewards for Royal rank, you will go back to Normal rank and repeat the cycle.
Here are some examples of missions you need to do. The quantity for each mission will be bigger on higher ranks.

Psychotria Special Seed
Psychotria is a special seed that gives 200-heart hats on Phase 5 harvest! You can obtain it by mixing any kind of grow booster in the Secret Garden, or from the Golden gacha. On random occurence, you will get the seed instead of a grow booster. To maximize the seed, you must get it to Phase 5 either by full bloom method or skipping phases. When you harvest, it has a 100% chance of dropping 200-heart hats. Don't forget to purchase the Homebound Mark
for the bonus 30 couple points per harvested Phase 5 plant.
If you wish to target seeds when mixing, it's probably best to use Lv1 Grow Booster ingredients to save time. Here is the formula.
